Yuba City skates past Marin Academy with ease

On Thursday, Yuba City blew past Marin Academy, posting a 69-41 win at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Yuba City.
Saleem Rafiq was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Dumaran, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Yuba City's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Marin Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Yuba City will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. Kennedy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Marin Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chico at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Chico focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday.
