Basketball Recap: Green Bay Preble Takes a Loss

Green Bay Preble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Notre Dame Academy Tritons. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Tritons are ranked 37th).

Green Bay Preble now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Notre Dame Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Green Bay Preble will take on Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pulaski knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Green Bay Preble likes a good challenge. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will challenge Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Notre Dame Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
