Grace Christian never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights with a sharp  15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won eight matches by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Victoria Thomas was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Addison Kirk looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  she posted two  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia Hochevar, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.  Adison Gardner was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Grace Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .586. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win made it two in a row for Grace Christian and  bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3  runs in those games. As for Thales Academy Rolesville,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
 Coming up, Grace Christian will welcome Harrells Christian Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they will take on Wilson Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last six contests.
