Baseball Recap: Lakota East Comes Up Short

Lakota East lost against Elder back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Thunderhawks took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakota East's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Elder, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Lakota East will face off against Batavia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elder, they will be playing at home against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.6, the Trailblazers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
