It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alden-Hebron had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 75-45 victory over the Hiawatha Hawks. The Green Giants' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Alden-Hebron has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Hiawatha, they dropped their record down to 2-28 with the loss, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Alden-Hebron will challenge Pecatonica at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hiawatha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
