Volleyball Recap: Xavier Rodriguez Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Wyoming

Taylor's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Wyoming Cowboys 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-18.

Taylor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Xavier Rodriguez out in front who had seven digs and two aces. Max Foley was another key player, getting nine digs and three assists.

Taylor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Wyoming, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor will face off against Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wyoming, they will challenge Middletown Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
