Baseball Recap: Polo Takes a Loss

Polo lost against Oregon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Marcos came up short against the Hawks, falling 8-2. The Marcos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Polo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Zeigler, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Polo's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Oregon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Coming up, Polo will be playing in front of their home fans against Milledgeville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oregon, they will venture away from home to take on Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
