Basketball Recap: Winter Takes a Loss

Winter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Siren Dragons 78-43. The Warriors lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 59-57 score last time.

Winter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Siren, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Winter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bruce at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Winter is facing Bruce at the right time seeing as Bruce is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Siren, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Turtle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
