Volleyball Recap: Winnetonka Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Winnetonka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lafayette Fighting Irish by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Griffins: when they faced off against the Fighting Irish back in March, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Winnetonka's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Lafayette, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

Winnetonka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Belton on the 19th. As for Lafayette, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East on the 19th.
