Baseball Recap: Canyon Hills Comes Up Short

Canyon Hills lost against Hoover back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rattlers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josue Flores, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Canyon Hills' loss dropped their record down to 9-15-2. As for Hoover, they moved to 2-23 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cardinals beat Canyon Hills by a score of 11-3 on Thursday.
