Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maysville). They put the hurt on the Bowlegs Bison with a sharp 16-3 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Maysville's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Bowlegs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Maysville will head out on the road to take on Mill Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mill Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Maysville's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bowlegs, they will venture away from home to face off against Calvin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvin has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.75 runs per game on average), something Bowlegs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
