Football Recap: Flushing Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagle Academy III, Flushing was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They snuck past the Jamaica Beavers with a 12-6 victory.

The win got Flushing back to even at 1-1. As for Jamaica, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Flushing and Jamaica will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Red Devils see the field they'll take on Boys & Girls on October 5. As for Jamaica, their break will end when they face Beach Channel on October 5.
