Lamar Consolidated's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past the Randle Lions 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since April 23, 2024.

Randall Sosnowski was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Lamar Consolidated is undefeated when Sosnowski posts two or more runs, but 3-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Silva, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lamar Consolidated's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Randle, their record now sits at 14-12-2.

Lamar Consolidated will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
