Basketball Game Preview: Carney-Nadeau Wolves vs. Shiocton Chiefs

The Carney-Nadeau Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Shiocton Chiefs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carney-Nadeau has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, Carney-Nadeau humbled Rapid River with a 69-20 victory. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Shiocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of Wittenberg-Birnamwood. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Chargers are ranked 21st).

Carney-Nadeau now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Shiocton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
