Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Takes a Loss

West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Anderson Raptors, falling 3-0.

West Clermont couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Anderson a tough time in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 30-28.

Trent Cottrell paced West Clermont's offense, picking up seven kills. Cottrell got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his 11 assists. Finally, Jacob Ziebold kept West Clermont's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Anderson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Coming up, West Clermont will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Badin at 6:00 p.m. As for Anderson, they will venture away from home to challenge Roger Bacon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
