Basketball Recap: St. Catherine's Saints vs. Potomac School Panthers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Catherine can now relate to. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Potomac School Panthers on Tuesday. The Saints just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Potomac School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Catherine Letendre out in front who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Letendre is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's played. Ava Sewall was another key player, going 6-for-13 to rack up 19 points.

St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Potomac School, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

St. Catherine's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Potomac School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-69 loss against St. Anne's-Belfield on the 26th.
