Basketball Game Preview: Vernon Lions vs. Holliday Eagles

The Vernon Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Holliday Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Vernon and four for Holliday.

On Tuesday, Vernon was beaten by City View 61-24.

Meanwhile, Holliday came up short against Memorial on Tuesday and fell 43-32.

Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Holliday, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Vernon didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Holliday in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory. Will Vernon repeat their success, or does Holliday have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
