Volleyball Recap: Palm Beach Central's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

While Palm Beach Central's victory against Park Vista wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos had just enough and edged out the Cobras 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since October 1, 2024.

Palm Beach Central took Park Vista into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 17-25, 15-11.

Natalie Suarez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and two assists. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high. Savannah Andrade-Guthrie also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Palm Beach Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Palm Beach Central's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Park Vista, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Central will be playing at home against American Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Park Vista, they will take on Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
