Basketball Recap: Henderson County Comes Up Short

The Henderson County Colonels lost to the O'Fallon Panthers at home by a 65-50 margin on Saturday. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Henderson County still got an impressive performance from A'Tylia Green, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 26 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Green is now averaging an impressive 17 points per game. Another player making a difference was Janyla Locher, who posted nine points.

Henderson County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for O'Fallon, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Henderson County will head out to challenge Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Colonels will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for O'Fallon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Taylorville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
