Penns Valley Area is 9-1 against Bellefonte since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will challenge the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Bellefonte will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Penns Valley Area extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. Everything went the Rams' way against Bishop Guilfoyle as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Penns Valley Area took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Bellefonte got the win against Central on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.

While Bellefonte won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 25-21.

Bellefonte's win came from a few key players Penns Valley Area will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sloan Moore, who had nine digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Braelyn Mingle, who had six aces and three digs.

Bellefonte was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Penns Valley Area's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Bellefonte, the win got them back to even at 12-12-2.

Penns Valley Area skirted past Bellefonte 3-2 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
