Greenwich faced St. Joseph in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Cadets 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Cadets: they've now won four in a row.

Greenwich not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Joseph between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-19.

Kayah Armstrong paced Greenwich's offense, picking up 16 kills. Armstrong got some help from Victoria Sullivan and her 36 assists. Sullivan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for St. Joseph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
