Evergreen hadn't done well against Highline recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Evergreen Wolverines' pitcher stepped up to hand the Highline Pirates a 10-0 shutout. The Wolverines not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024.

Raiden Hang was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
