Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ross walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Ross have won 14 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Ross' third in a row) raised their record to 17-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, they dropped their record down to 9-6-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ross will face off against Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Ross 0.2, Oakwood 0.4) so any goals scored will be well earned. Chaminade Julienne Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
