Baseball Recap: Canyon Hills Takes a Loss

Canyon Hills lost against San Dieguito Academy back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rattlers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 17-6. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Conde and Sam Wabe did some serious damage despite the final result: Conde got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, while Wabe got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI.

Canyon Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-2. As for San Dieguito Academy, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-16.

Coming up, Canyon Hills will head out on the road to face off against Kearny at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Dieguito Academy, they will host Escondido at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for the Mustangs: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while the Cougars have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
