Football Recap: Reseda Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Reseda extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They were outmatched by the Van Nuys Wolves and fell 46-0. The Regents were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Van Nuys, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Van Nuys got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carlos Herrera out in front who threw for 287 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 48 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Herrera a new career-high in passer rating (152.1). Van Nuys' leading receiver Sean Palomino was Herrera's top target yet again, picking up 132 receiving yards and two scores, while also punching in one TD on the ground.
