Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-29 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles CES Unicorns. The Wildcats were down 47-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

University's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Orpheu Cummings, who posted four points and eight rebounds.

University's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Los Angeles CES, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Venice the next time they take the court. Los Angeles CES will host Venice at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while University will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
