Basketball Recap: Park Crossing Comes Up Short

Park Crossing was the 69-56 winner over Pike Road when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Park Crossing Thunderbirds came up short against the Pike Road Patriots on Tuesday, falling 77-57. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Park Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Pike Road, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Crossing will venture away from home to square off against Russell County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Russell County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Park Crossing surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pike Road, they are taking a road trip to take on Rehobeth at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pike Road is facing Rehobeth at the right time seeing as Rehobeth is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
