Basketball Recap: Jordan Jones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kathleen over Sebring

Kathleen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sebring Blue Streaks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 67-64 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Jones, who posted 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Rashard Kelly, who earned 14 points.

Leading Sebring to victory were Keiden Hester and David Allen. Hester scored 16 points, while Allen put up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Mitchell, who had ten points.

Kathleen's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Sebring, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Kathleen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-67 defeat against Lake Gibson on the 30th. As for Sebring, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 87-74 loss against Avon Park on the 31st.
