It was a good run, but Wasatch unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wasatch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Wasatch's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Spanish Fork, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wasatch will face off against rival Timpview at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spanish Fork is set to square off against their familiar foe Salem Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
