Baseball Game Preview: New Glarus Glarner Knights vs. Belleville Wildcats

For the second straight game, New Glarus will face off against Belleville. The Glarner Knights will head out to challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

New Glarus took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Belleville 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Glarner Knights in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Landon Stelter, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Ashlin Mihlbauer also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

New Glarus now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Belleville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
