Basketball Recap: Pocatello's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pocatello entered their tilt with Century on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 51-45 victory over the Century Diamondbacks. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pocatello pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Century, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

When Pocatello and Century next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Pocatello will square off against Shelley and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Century will try to stop Hillcrest's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
