Volleyball Recap: Dillingham Starts Season with Victory at Home

Dillingham took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles 1-0.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dillingham got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-0.

Cook Inlet Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Dillingham has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Ninilchik on the 9th. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Sand Point on the 9th.
