Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Ava Geyer stepped things up a notch to give New Prairie the 'W'. Geyer wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with eight or more strikeouts.
