Basketball Recap: Kamden Rozier Key Part of Team Effort in Stingers Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ligonier Valley, Marion Center was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Yough Cougars 75-50. For the Stingers, this counts as revenge for the 62-42 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

Marion Center's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamden Rozier led the charge by putting up 21 points. Rozier's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Hayden Fox, who posted 18 points.

Marion Center now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Yough, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Marion Center will face off against River Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Yough, they will head out on the road to square off against Mt. Carmel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
