Nolan Mandell turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Army-Navy is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Mandell and Army-Navy will host Crossroads at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Crossroads swept Brentwood School off the field in their last game, a feat they'll no doubt try to repeat.
