Volleyball Recap: Floresville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Floresville came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the George West Longhorns by a score of 2-0.

Floresville found their leader in freshman Addyson Angell, who had six digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Angell. Nevaeh Joyner also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Floresville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven matches.

Floresville's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for George West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Floresville has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Falls City on the 22nd. As for George West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hallettsville on the 22nd.
