Volleyball Recap: Normandy Gets the Win

Normandy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Walsh Jesuit Warriors, sneaking past 3-2.

Normandy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 21-25, 25-16, 16-14.

Despite the loss, Walsh Jesuit still got an impressive performance from Jacob Rhoades, who had 17 digs and three assists.

Normandy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Walsh Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Normandy is set to face off against their familiar foe Avon Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit will challenge rival Copley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
