Softball Recap: Madera South Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Madera South's offense. They came up short against the McLane Highlanders on Monday, falling 17-0. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Madera South dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for McLane, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Looking ahead, Madera South will face off against Justin Garza at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Justin Garza's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Madera South's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for McLane, they will challenge Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
