Baseball Recap: Ferguson Takes a Loss

Ferguson and Coral Gables squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ferguson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 back in March.

Ferguson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jio Muguercia, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Ferguson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Coral Gables, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

As of now, neither Ferguson nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
