Even though the Ligonier Valley Rams scored an imposing 61 points on Wednesday, the Albert Gallatin Colonials still came out on top. Albert Gallatin enjoyed a cozy 76-61 victory over Ligonier Valley. The score was all tied up 32-32 at the break, but Albert Gallatin was the better team in the second half.
Albert Gallatin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shymere Wilson, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mykel Belt, who scored 20 points.
Albert Gallatin's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Ligonier Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
Albert Gallatin will take on Southmoreland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Albert Gallatin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Southmoreland likes a good challenge. As for Ligonier Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Derry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Derry's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
