Volleyball Recap: Patterson Tigers vs. East Union Lancers
If Patterson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central Catholic last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the East Union Lancers on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
The final score came out to 25-22, 25-10, 25-23.
Leading East Union to victory were Keenan Yang and Gabriel Estabillo. Yang had 14 digs and six assists, while Estabillo had eight kills and one block. That's the most assists Yang has posted since back in March.
Patterson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for East Union, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.
