Football Recap: Fairfield Union Takes a Loss

Fairfield Union lost against Bloom-Carroll back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell 17-7 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 167th).

Fairfield Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bloom-Carroll, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fairfield Union will host Liberty Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will head out to face off against Logan Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
