Football Recap: Paschal Piles Up the Points Against South Hills

Paschal put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the South Hills Scorpions 52-14. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 38 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paschal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Truman Shelton, who rushed for 83 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Shelton has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Jack English was in the mix as well, providing Paschal with two TDs.

Paschal didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Jowers and Matthias Hughes. Paschal got some further help from Sam Williams: he made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Paschal's record now sits at 4-0. As for South Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Paschal will face off against Chisholm Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hills, they will take on North Side at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Scorpions will be up against the Steers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
