Volleyball Recap: Comstock Park Takes a Loss

Comstock Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Cedar Springs Red Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Comstock Park ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.

Comstock Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Cedar Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-25-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Comstock Park will challenge Kelloggsville on Saturday. As for Cedar Springs, they will face off against Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
