Football Game Preview: Twin Loup Wolves vs. Burwell Longhorns

The Twin Loup Wolves will head out to face off against the Burwell Longhorns on Friday. Twin Loup has given up an average of 25.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Twin Loup had to take the L. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 46-27 to Anselmo-Merna. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Twin Loup took the loss, they still got scores from Carter Hall, Oran Grint, and Yahya Harris.

Meanwhile, Burwell blew past Chambers/Wheeler Central, posting a 50-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Burwell now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Twin Loup, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

Twin Loup couldn't quite finish off Burwell in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 26-23. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
