South River has gone 10-0 against North County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The South River Seahawks will welcome the North County Knights at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, South River turned things around against Annapolis on Friday. They blew past the Panthers 67-47. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Seahawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Panthers are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, North County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 38-27 win over the Patriots. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for South River, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for South River against North County in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 56-28 victory. Does South River have another victory up their sleeve, or will North County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
