While losing is never fun, Kirksville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Chillicothe is ranked 14th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chillicothe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liz Oliver, who scored 18 points along with three blocks and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Oliver has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kayanna Cranmer, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.

Kirksville has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Chillicothe, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.
