Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Sturgis back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Central Bearcats fell 37-30 to the Sturgis Trojans. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central's record is now 3-12. As for Sturgis, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Central and Sturgis could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Central will challenge Norrix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 229 places (444 vs. 215). Meanwhile, Sturgis (ranked 480th) will meet Plainwell (ranked 99th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
