Basketball Recap: Jovan Severe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Foundation Academy over East River + How To Watch

The Foundation Academy Lions came up short against the East River Falcons on Tuesday and fell 59-46. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Foundation Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jovan Severe, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Thanks to that strong game, Severe now owns an excellent 46.2% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Reuter, who had six points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Foundation Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East River, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Academy will take on Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East River, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Winter Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
