Basketball Recap: Lancaster Christian Academy Knights vs. Franklin Christian Academy Falcons
After a string of four wins, the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 74-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Whitt, who scored 32 points along with five rebounds. Whitt has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last nine times he's played. Albert Clark was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds.
Lancaster Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Franklin Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
Lancaster Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Christian Academy is on the road again on Friday and plays the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
